Less than an hour after my previous post saying that it looked like Bradley Cooper was Green Lantern Warners announced that RYAN REYNOLDS has been signed to play Hal Jordan/Green Lantern. Good choice in my opinion. Filming starts in January. Movie release scheduled for either Christmas 2010 or summer 2011.

Warner Brothers is making the Green Lantern Movie and filming begins this fall. Sources are saying that the three finalists for the lead role of Hal Jordan who becomes the Green Lantern were Ryan Reynolds, Justin Timberlake, and Bradley Cooper. The winner of this three way dance for the role looks to be Bradley Cooper. Looks like an announcement from Warners is coming next week. Not bad for Cooper. He got to lock lips with Jennifer Garner in Alias. Do sex scenes with Jennifer Connely and Scarlett Johanson (reynolds wife) in "He's not that into you". Star in one of the funniest movies in many years with "The Hangover". Now he becomes the next big Superhero to hit the big screen. Hope he's a nice guy because the Kharma bucket has been tipping his way lately. You notice I didnt even mention the "maybe he banged Jennifer Aniston rumor which makes him one of the luckiest people alive. Way to go senor cooper

THE WATCHMEN!! Coming to a theater near you next year... maybe. Thanks to Fox pictures for deciding that they own the rights from years ago even though they never developed the movie or made it, suing Warner Brothers, who actually did make the movie, there might be a delay. A judge has granted a temporary injunction against Warner Bros to keep them from releasing this movie. Watch those F'ers from Fox who screwed up Fantastic Four, and so many other comic book movies end up making money from what might be one of the finest comic book movies ever made.

It will be many peoples greatest movie ever NUMBER TWO= IRON MAN Robert Downey Jr is incredible. Jon Favreau directed a great film. That guy is waayyyy underrated. Jeff Bridges is just evil and dare I say it Gwyneth was hot. Great Comic Book movie especially after the credits. Made the comic book fan part of me smile like a puppy with two peters! Not since Timothy Dalton have James Bond fans like myself been so sure that we have a one movie wonder on our hands. ladies and gentlemen meet Daniel Craig he is the 6th James Bond. he will also tie that Lazemby fellow for shortest run as Bond. Cant wait for the teh introduction of the next Bond before the next movie.

What Can I say about this movie? It was fantastic. A great ride! Serenity is a combination of the best parts of all the sci-fi fantasy films that we have loved throughout the years. Captain Mal Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) is a mix of captain Kirk, Han Solo, and Indiana Jones. He is a futuristic Robin Hood who leads his group of merry men and hot girls into missions that have them stealing from the rich (the federation) and then keeping it. This movie takes place 500 years in the future. The federation is the ruling body in the galaxy that is obviously made up of the USA and CHINA. Earth became so populated they had to move humans to other planets. this of course led to space being like the wild west as settlers are out to stake their claim in the new land of space. There are also REAVERS. The crazy insane killers of the universe who are everyones enemies. OPENING TONIGHT AT SHOWPLACE 12 I will be the fat guy eating popcorn with the smile on my face and the hot chick on my arm. I might see it twice this weekend I am so fired up for this movie. GO SEE IT!!
