Ray Lytle's Morning Disaster

There has been a lot of talk recently about the Bush Tax Cuts. You know the cuts that are heralded as life and economy changing by Republicans and some Democrats. All of whom by the way are members of the group of Americans that are most positively affected by the tax cuts... the wealthy. Republican Eric Cantor made the Sunday Morning talk show circuit heralding the new GOP agenda which seems to be built around saving the wealthy their beloved extra money they keep from the tax cuts. THIS IS ANOTHER RAY LYTLE EDITORIAL THAT WILL MORE THAN LIKELY ANGER THE IGNORANT AND UNENLIGHTENED. (That is why I use a sweet baby picture of myself in hopes it calms their anger) I keep hearing over and over again how angry the people in the TEA PARTY are. I also hear how they are the true patriots as all they care about is helping the little guy and making government stop spending. REALLY? Well, to all of you in the Tea Party I have this to say. You have done absolutely nothing to show that you stand for any of what you claim you stand for. But you have a test coming up where you can prove that your actions speak louder than your words. Now let me preface this by saying... there is no doubt in my mind that you will fail this test. I honestly feel you will do what you did last time you had this test and become nothing more than lightly veiled racists who don't do anything but bitch about the black socialist running the country and simply repeat the Republican talking points ...

So let me get this right... In 2007 when the country started turning against George Bush a bunch of Republicans were wanting to run for President. It was a hard sell to get the word out that you were in the GOP and wanting the job of President. You had to separate yourself from the Republican administration. You needed to let the world know that you weren't just a party line guy. You had to let the voters know that you were brave and you didn't care about anything involving politics, you only cared about the people. You had to let them know that you were a MAVERICK!! Let's face it.. the ending of the Bush Presidency was a mess. But this tale does not start there. We have to go even further back .... In 1999 President Clinton was leaving office after a fairly successful presidential run. After Sunday's historical vote and Monday's day of sorrow and grieving for the Tea Baggers and Ultra conservatives, today was the day. This morning Tuesday March 23 President Barrack Hussein Obama (I included the Hussein for my conservative friends so that they know who I am talking about and considering they call the President Hussein I wanted them to know who it was I was referencing) Anyway... The President Barrack Obama signed into law House Resolution 3200 (HR 3200)aka The Health Reform act and also known as in what will one day be one of the biggest Stupid moves by the Right...Obamacare. They call it ObamaCare because their theory .... tying the Presidents name to this act Would forever connect Hussein Obama with failure. This of course was perpetuated by the Motivated and passionate opposition created by the Politicians, pundits and News Networks who receive the Republican talking points. The plan .. The more I read of this Health Care Reform bill, The more I feel that the folks on the wrong side of this will one day be embarrassed. It seems that the only people who would benefit from this bill NOT passing would be the insurance companies and people who make more than 250 grand taxable because their medicare costs would go up in 2014 if it passes. Small business tax credits are a good thing we aren't hearing about, God Forbid people who get dividends pay a 3 percent tax which is in this bill. Voting NO on this bill is the same as voting YES for the insurance companies. But lets face it this isn't about health care its about Our Team vs your team. Black and white, rich and poor, liberal vs conservative. There were people that fought civil rights, womens right to vote and abolition of slavery too. Okay for starters she didnt do terrible. But not answering questions, sounding like she was reading from a script and just not knowing enough about the Senate and of course the shout out oh yeah and the overuse of the word maverick which I am entirely sick of hearing really hurt her in this debate. Remember the VP has to be the PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE. Biden wins the debate. once again.. Biden won the debate. You can try to convince yourself that Sarah Palin somehow won but come on you know deep down inside she didnt. Not that it makes a difference considering most people had their minds made up before they watched the damn thing. By the way I wanted to create a Sarah Palin Drinking game when I chugged everythime she said the word Maverick but I was afraid I would die of alcohol poisoning.

You see. That is the guy I voted for. The guy who gives a shit. The guy who is comforting these people who more than likely did not vote for him. The guy who is going out of his way to make these people who are not contributors to his party or acitve members of any Christian coalition, feel better. This is the guy we need to step up and tell all of us that this stuff were going through now will soon end and everything will be allright. This is what we need.

Can you imagine? You get on the road in your car to escape the hurricane. You think you are home free and then...the road breaks apart. No sandbag is gonna keep that water from destroying your home. This is a fine idea until you have to piss. Try balancing yourself on that styrofoam buddy. Better to just risk the rash and warm the pants. This is why I have vowed to lose weight if I move to an area in any kind of potential flooding area. I want to make sure that the helicopter can lift my fat ass off of my house just in case. Seriously though. This is a horrible tragedy. These people who were just trying to live their lives are now dying by the hundreds simply because of a really bad storm. Why in the fuck did the people running this city not realize that this could happen? It is shaped like a bowl for Gods sake. it has no flood wall.
