Image
Congratulations to the POP MUSIC world and My condolences to the COUNTRY MUSIC world. She is a fantastic performer with the sound down. The good news is now that she is a country singer we can almost guarantee a 2009 Illinois State Fair appearance

This is what I see

For those wondering why I always talk about how I have to look around monitors in order to see the guys on the other side this is why. What you are looking at is my view. the two monitors rock but it makes it so that i see very little. Most of the time I have the video screen up in the right monitor that shows the camera. That way when i turn the cam around i can see whats going on. I know its a pretty mundane post but it gives those of you that listen to the show a better perspective of what it is that I'm going through.

Guess who is back

Although the name of the show is still the Ray Lytle show you might have noticed that the feel of the show is back to the old Lytle and Lamb style since Jon joined the show. You know we have bitched that there werent any billboards to promote the new show the last few months but it might have been a blessin in disguise now that JOn has come back. The goal is to try to syndicate this thing again. If that happens I am sure we will be changing the name again to Lytle and Lamb. Just in case we do I started working on new logos. So what do you think of this one?

We had played non stop since September of 01. Right after 9/11 the band did a fund raising show and then we played pretty much non stop. The Pickles that you hear when you listen to My shoes or Lesbian Rocker or any of the recorded music is Me, Jamie, Tony and Dave. The last time the four of us played was in 03. Thats when Dave left. Tony stuck it out for a while into 04 and then Jamie and I continued on with Jim Hart on bass and various other drummers. We played until December of 04 and then it was time for a break. I originally thought the break would be about a year or so but almost 4 years later were finally doing it again. The cool thing is doing it with these guys. Jamie was the last one to get back on board and we have had only one practice but we are definitely going on Monday night. The
