The Friday Report...

It is almost the weekend. YAY!!! It feels like I actually worked this week. The new show is a blAST! It is also a lot of work. Dont get me wrong it's fun work. It's kind of like working in a strip club or in the porn industry or being a lifeguard at a pool where rich girls are members. In other words it's a lot of work but you have a good time doing it. I am surprisingly keeeping a pretty good sleep schedule too. It is a little weird going to sleep at 3am but then again I a guy who only needs about 6 hours a sleep..tops. Anything more than that and I feel like crap. In fact I am used to getting about 4 hours a sleep a night so the extra 2 hours is actually kind of cool. I do miss not seeing my wife every morning before she leaves for work and this weird thing has happened where I actually get the chance to dress in the morning with the lights on which is something I could not do for 20 years. SO that's kind of cool. This weekend I am planning on checking out Land of the

What a great show on Wednesday night. THANKS to Adam Hunter who was a fantastic guest.I honestly believe Adam is going to be a big star. He is not only funny but one of the most real and nice guys in the entertainment industry. He's Talented and driven and that is a combination that usually makes for some success. Shakes also guested on the show and told the story of how he lost his virginity. Good for him. Shawn Balint was on as my cohost as usual and he joined me as I listened to Foon do the Truckers Kingdom and of Course Vic was on doing Vic's wishes. A lot of work went into the show on Wednesday and I hope you liked it. COMING UP THURSDAY The debut of the new segment IM JUST SAYING!!! I am hoping this bit has legs. Also I will be able to take listener calls starting Thursday night as well. It's late and I gots to sleep. I will blog some more tomorrow. Ray

This show is running midnight to 3a on the east coast and it does surprise me that people actually stayed up to listen. I am still trying to figure it all out. When I last did overnight shift in radio I was a single 20 year old punk who would have done anything to be on the radio. Now I am a 42 year old husband and father of a 7 year old daughter. A daughter who's bedroom happens to be right next door to the home studio that I use to do this show that is live when she sleeps. So far she has not woken up by my loud voice. Thank God. I am now trying to figure out things I didnt think about when I decided to do this show. Important things like SEX! That's right SEX. How do I get my USDA reccomended amount when I am in the studio instead of the bedroom. You' d think that would be something we would've worked out be
