razor sent this over to me. I thought it was interesting because it brought back the memory of the disgusting smell that was coming from cowboy Troys armpit and the fact that some girls who I have never met before somehow made it on the stage and next to me during our biggest song of the night.

Ray, I heard you were willing to stay but WQLZ wouldnt offer you a raise. Is that true? Because if you could have stayed in town and this was over money I am going to be pissed. Those cheap SOBs obviously saved money on this new show. That really pisses me off.

Don't always believe what you hear. Ray already explained that he was maxed out. What that means is that he couldn't possibly earn any more money and still have the show be profitable. This comes down to simple checks and balances for the radio station. If Ray's show brings in $100,000 a year (and we're just using simple math here, these aren't realistic figures) and Ray is making $95,000 a year then the radio station is only making $5,000 a year. Well what happens next year when Ray's show brings in $100,000 and they are paying Ray $105,000? I'm sure it has to do more with his years of service than anything. After so many years a company simply can't afford to pay you anymore. It's not a matter of the company NOT wanting to keep someone around, it's a matter of the financially NOT being able to. Unfortunately in business it works that way. You can't write checks that you know you can't cash.

I'm not saying that I'm 100% right on this, but that's the way I took it when Ray explained that he was maxed out on salary.

In order for him to stay, I'm sure he would have had to take a MASSIVE pay cut - and I understand him not wanting to do that. He has a family to take care of, and you have to have a change of scenery sometimes in order to stay fresh otherwise we tend to get into habits or ruts and have a hard time getting out of them.

I think Ray is doing what's best for his family and his career, and as much as we all hate it we need to support him on his decision to leave. (I just hope he keeps posting pictures of naked celeb-titties -- Especially the future Mrs. Phat Daddy, Jessica Simpson)

Just seen the pic and that smell you said came from me (NOT) it was those girl's that smelled like carp that marvin cought fishing not my damm armpit take care of DEE and miss BELLA and to hell with GOOSE later LOL COWBOYTROY the first one and only one of the morning show of old later ! It would'nt be a good thing if he did move out of moma's crib because he just needs a place to sleep. The rest of his day he is busy stalking Ray and calling him nonstop. Probably sitting outside his house with binocks to! A Roy Lytle stalker in a cowboy hat. Dont make him use his gun.

Rock on Ray. The farewell show was a blast, man. Never met some of those dudes, it was nice to put face on the voices.
