TOP FIVE MOVIES AS OF NOW
EVERY FRIDAY ON THE SHOW JON AND I TALK TO THE MOVIE GUYS NATE AND DC. ONE OF THE THINGS WE ALWAYS END UP DOING IS ASKING THEM WHAT THEIR CURRENT FIVE TOP MOVIES OF THE SUMMER ARE. THEY ALWAYS CHANGE. THE SAME GOES FOR ME. INDIANA JONES AND HELLBOY AND GET SMART HAVE BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE LIST SEVERAL TIMES. THIS WEEKS LIST OF THE TOP FIVE IS AS FOLLOWS
Robert Downey Jr is incredible. Jon Favreau directed a great film. That guy is waayyyy underrated. Jeff Bridges is just evil and dare I say it Gwyneth was hot. Great Comic Book movie especially after the credits. Made the comic book fan part of me smile like a puppy with two peters!
Thats right it breaks into the top five for the first time this summer. I have been laughing at stuff that was in this movie still a month later. Thats a good sign. The prosthetic ballsack alone is worth the 9 bucks of the ticket.
NUMBER FOUR= HANCOCK
I know its Will Smiths movie but Jason Bateman is awesome. The surprise I saw coming with Charlize Theron was fun to watch as well. This movie has left a good impression a month later and deserves to be in the top five
NUMBER 5= TROPIC THUNDER
Tom Cruise steals the movie! He is hysterical once you figure out who he is. I like ben Stiller but sometimes the Ben Stillerish scripts get a little too whats the word Im looking for...stupid (see stupid Jack). Yep thats it. Just Theroux who co wrote it fixed that by keeping the great Stiller Stuff in and rounding out the rest. Its a good film with lots of inside stuff and laugh out loud stupidity. Its a fun movie and it number 5 this week!!
Im sure it will change next week but thats my current five.
