WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT? THE ARIZONA CARDINALS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL! AMAZING! Kurt Warner proved he is a hall of fame quarterback and solidified his place in history as a great by securing his third Superbowl start after leading the Cardinals over the Eagles. My relationship with the Cardinals has always been interesting. I mean growing up in Gillespie meant on Sundays I would get the Cardinal games on CBS out of St Louis. Now Gillespie gets both St Louis and Springfield Channels so on NBC I would get different games including Bears games whenever AFC teams went into Chicago to play them. But most of the time my Cardinal viewing consisted of me complaining that I was forced to watch them instead of my Bears. So every week I would tune in hoping that St Louis didnt sell enough tickets and I would somehow see a Bears game but alas that was usually not the case. I would end up being forced to watch the Cardinals and They sucked and I didnt like them. However they started playing team...

RICK GUTIERREZ IN SPRINGFIELD Got a chance to head out to my favorite date night location..Donny B's Funny Bone on Saturday night. Rick Gutierrez who had been on the show Friday Morning was doing his 730 show. I knew he was funny and more importantly REAL when he was on the show Friday and we were showing pics of our daughters during the commercials. I also knew he had an amazing improv ability when he started giving Shakes hell during the show. I was expecting a good show... BUT my new friend BLEW EVERYBODY AWAY. Usually when you have high expectations you are setting yourself up for a bit of a let down but not this time. Ricky blew past expectations in the first 10 minutes. I am talking HYSTERICAL. High energy, hysterical bits, imporomptu ramblings that are as funny as the scripted stuff and the amazing sounds he gets out of a microphone. Rick is my new hermano (thats brother for you white people) and you cant help when you see him but think of how much more interesting his life...

So whats happening People? I have had a blast the last two days. Shawn Balint and I have been doing the show which has already been nicknamed "THE 2 FAT GUYS" although Shawn hates the nickname and thinks it should be spelled with a PH so that no one will think we're obese. In other news..... I have had some e-mails from people asking if they could buy the 20 years special. As of this point I have no plans to make it available to purchase or download. In the future I might but there is still hundreds of hours of work to do on it. What you heard on the air was a quickly put together in segments that would allow for commercials to be put in between. I would like to put it all together and add a lot more interviews and more full on unedited bits and if you remember the old DRN days Jimmy and I would sometimes talk about old times. I would like to find some of that audio and then add Jimmys voice to the interviews which I think would be cool. I also didnt even start on the New...
